Yes, for U9 and higher. Regardless of where they live, only players that have been in Manalapan Soccer Club for the previous year can try out for U8 travel teams. Back to top

The MSC is always looking for coaches to join our system. I suggest he attends the next General Membership Meeting next Tuesday at 8:30 at the Yorktowne Club to meet the people in the Club and discuss how he can be a part of it. Back to top

· Do you need to be a resident of Manalapan to play on the 4 1/2 year old team? We live in Marlboro and he can't play because he is not entering kindegarten in the fall.

· I am interested in becoming a coach. Do you offer training?
MSC offers two types of coaches instruction: UK Elite training for new and existing coaches, and F license certification. The first (of two) coaches training was last Friday; the other date will be announced later in the season. We haven't scheduled an F licensing course for the upcoming season yet; watch the website and Goalkeeper for information. In the mean time, you can go to www.NJYouthSoccer.com and check on F license courses offered in other towns. Back to top

· Before I enroll my daughter in soccer, I need to know when practices and games are to coordinate with my other childrens activities.
For the U5 program that your daughter will be in there are practices on Saturday mornings and games on Sunday mornings. Coaches sometimes have an extra practice during the week.
MSC's recreation programs for the 'pee wees' is developmental, and designed to not only teach skills and the games, but also provide a positive introduction to team sports. We hope to see you! Back to top
