Playing their first game of the Fall Season….Team Naples had a strong game against Palermo.
Our goalies played a very strong game today. Brendan, AJ, and Chris Z. all played extremely well in net. Brendan had some good kicks down field after making the save. AJ gave us two solid quarters in goal….his most memorable save was taking a solid shot off of his chest and corralling in the ball. Chris Z. kept us in the game in order to get the tie. Zack scored two goals…his second on a nice thrown in from Frank.
David Della Bella had several chances today. A couple going wide and another on a nice save by the Palermo
goaltender. David had a strong defensive game as well.
David V. had an outstanding defensive game.
Blake gave it his all in making some fine plays.
James was all over the field in helping his teammates.
Frank played strong defensively as he showed his athletic skill in making several sliding tackles. He also had a couple of nice clears from our goal and some strong kicks up field.
Chris H. made some solid defensive plays in stopping the opposition from scoring.
