I would like to take this opportunity to inform you about our club's Annual College and Training Scholarship Program.

Each year our club offers up to $1,000 College scholarships for High School Seniors and $250 training scholarships to High School Freshman-Junior year students. 

In addition, the Club also offers a $500 Senior Recreation soccer and or Referee scholarships.

Please take the time to forward this to all your players, family and friends to let them know about our program and encourage as many high school students that qualify to apply. It costs nothing to apply and all it takes is for each  applicant to spend a short amount of time to fill out the application and  provide a resume highlighting their soccer playing experience from youth to  present, services to the club, such as tournament volunteer, refereeing,  training, rec coach etc., school awards, activities and community service as well. Also with the application is a grade verification form that the guidance department will fill out and provide proof of the applicant’s grade average.

The applications can be found on the Main page of Manalapan Soccer Club Web site under "Scholarships." There are separate applications for each Senior, Rec/Ref & Training scholarships.  Please encourage those players who you know that are in High School to apply. They have nothing to lose! The deadline to get their application in is May 25, 2013. The awards are presented to the winning applicants at the Clubs General Membership meeting in June.

Below are the eligibility requirements:

Senior Scholarship:

·         Senior High School Student (Does not have to be Manalapan HS)

·         Member of MSC team, provided that there is a team available at the skill level they play

·         Must have a "B" or better average in their high school career

·         Must be participating or have participated in soccer at the high school level

Senior Recreation Team or Referee Scholarship:

·         Senior High School Student (Does not have to be Manalapan HS)

·         Member of MSC Recreation team, provided that there is a team available at the skill level they play and or is currently an active Referee

·         Must have a "B" or better average in their high school  career

Training Scholarship:

·         Freshman-Junior yr. High School Student (Does not have to be Manalapan HS)

·         Member of MSC team, provided that there is a team available at the skill level they play

·         Must have a "B" or better average in their high school career

·         Must be participating or have participated in soccer at the high school level
