Shatliff Soccer U6 & U7 Pre-Travel Program in partnership with Manalapan soccer club

Program Overview

The Shatliff Soccer Pre-Travel Program is designed for committed U6 and U7 players who are looking for a more structured and development-focused environment beyond recreational soccer.

This program serves as the perfect bridge between recreational soccer and travel soccer by introducing players to age-appropriate technical training, small-sided game play, and a more consistent training schedule — all while maintaining a fun and positive learning environment.

Our focus is on developing confident, creative players who love the game and are eager to continue improving.

The Pre-Travel Program also serves as an important developmental pathway into Manalapan Soccer Club.

Unlike traditional travel soccer, there are no tryouts for the Pre-Travel Program. Every player is welcome to participate. Training groups will be formed based on registration numbers, age, and ability level to ensure the best developmental experience possible for all players.

U.S. Soccer Age Group Guidelines (2026/27)

U6 Players

Born between:
August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021

U7 Players

Born between:
August 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020

Players will be grouped based on age, ability level, and registration numbers to create the best developmental environment possible.

Program Structure

Fall Season

• 8 weeks of training at Manalapan Recreation Center
• 2 sessions per week
• 60-minute training sessions
• Includes 2 x 4v4 Festivals at Multisports Kingdom or HomeTurf

Winter Training

• 10-week indoor development program
• 1 session per week
• 60-minute sessions
• Held at an indoor training facility, Ivy League
• Focus on technical repetition and skill development during the offseason

Spring Season

• 8 weeks of training
• 2 sessions per week
• 60-minute training sessions
• Includes 2 x 4v4 Festivals at Manalapan Recreation Center

Player Placement

There are no tryouts for the program.

All players are welcome, and training groups will be split based on:

• Registration numbers
• Age
• Ability level

This structure allows players to train and compete in an environment that is both challenging and developmentally appropriate.

Program Cost

$625 – ALL INCLUSIVE

The program fee includes:

Professional trainer fees
Field rentals
4v4 festival registrations
Winter training
Full uniform package

No additional seasonal fees are required.
