Information  & Registration 

MSC offers a successful travel soccer program for both boys and girls from U8 through U19.   If you are new to travel soccer, or have specific questions regarding the MSC travel program, please contact the MSC Travel Vice Presidents for additional information.

There is no cost or obligation for tryouts.  All players are welcome to attend.  MSC holds travel tryouts in the spring (usually April) for the subsequent season.  All tryout participants should wear appropriate clothing for soccer activities.  Soccer cleats are highly encouraged, and shin guards are mandatory.  Each player should also have water/sports drink with them on the field during tryouts.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2026-2027 TRAVEL TRYOUTS

In alignment with the US Youth Soccer and NJ Youth Soccer, starting with the 2026-2027 travel season, the age group formation cycle is moving from a player’s birth year to closely align with the player’s school year. Starting with the 2026-27 travel season, age groups will follow an August 1 to July 31 cycle. 

- All players that were not carded on an MSC Travel team for the 2025-2026 Travel Season must tryout for teams that correspond to their designated age group as indicated below.

- All returning MSC travel players attending tryouts for any of our 7v7 teams (U8-U10) must do so according to their designated age group as indicated below. Parents of returning MSC travel players only will be offered the opportunity to select their preference that their child remain in the age group that corresponds with their child's current team or play with their designated age group when registering for tryouts.

- All returning MSC players attending tryouts for any of our 9v9 or 11v11 teams, may tryout for their current team's age group or, if applicable, may tryout for the team that corresponds to their designated age group.

Players receiving a roster spot offer will have to pay a $500 registration fee ($400 for spring only teams) to accept the roster spot.  THE REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES THE PLAYERS' UNIFORM KIT (uniforms are provided on a 2-year cycle).

At the conclusion of the tryouts, all participants will receive an email with their results.  Follow-on instructions will also be included within those emails.
